The honey we source is from David Hanson of Bay View Bees Flixton. All natural raw, Yorkshire honey. Harvested from bees working throughout the beautiful county of North Yorkshire. His bees start work around the farm in early spring on blackthorn, willow, and other early flowering plants. In summer they move to oil seed rape, beans, Hawthorne and wild flowers. At the end of the summer they finish up on the North Yorkshire Moors on the Ling heather and the Balsam at the edge of the River Esk. All of his honey is extracted using a centrifuge, and then lightly filtered (no other processing is needed). It’s then added to Moonshine Ice Cream, ready for you to enjoy!
